What stays on your device

Player profiles, names, avatars, scores, coins, settings and purchase entitlements are stored in a single file on your iPhone. They are never uploaded anywhere. Deleting the app deletes them.

Two-phone mode

When you host or join a two-phone match, Duel Lab uses Apple's Multipeer Connectivity framework to connect directly to the other phone over local Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Only game inputs, the chosen player name and avatar, and match state are exchanged, and only between the two phones. No internet connection is used and nothing passes through our servers, because we do not operate any.

iOS will ask for permission to use the local network and Bluetooth the first time you start a two-phone match. These permissions are used only to find and connect to the other phone. You can withdraw them at any time in the Settings app.

Purchases

In-app purchases (Duel Lab Pro and the Skin Pack) are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details and keep no record of who bought what. Your purchase is tied to your Apple Account and can be restored on any device from inside the app. Apple's handling of purchase data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.

No tracking, no ads, no accounts

Duel Lab contains no advertising, no analytics and no third-party SDKs that collect data. It does not ask you to create an account, and it does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) or any other device identifier.

Children

Duel Lab is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. It collects no data from anyone, including children under 13, and so is compliant with COPPA and similar laws by not processing personal information at all.

Your rights

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete. All of your in-app data is on your device and under your control. To erase it, delete the app.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes, such as adding any data collection, would also be announced inside the app before they take effect.
